The US position towards the OSCE Minsk Group is another diplomatic victory of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Mammadov, deputy of the Milli Majlis (Parliament) of Azerbaijan, told Report.

According to him, Armenia made every effort to ensure that the OSCE Minsk Group continued its activities: "But President Ilham Aliyev expressed his position in principle and decisively, declaring the impossibility of continuing the activities of the OSCE Minsk Group. Some time ago, Russia also spoke on this issue, and now the United States. Thus, Azerbaijan secured another diplomatic victory in the Karabakh issue, and, despite all the efforts of Armenia, it will not be possible now to restore and return the OSCE Minsk Group, which was not remembered for any activity."

The MP believes that the position of the United States on this issue can be considered a significant event.
