Salaries of state employees, social benefits, scholarships and pensions increased in Azerbaijan from January 1

Baku13.01.23/Turan: By order of the head of state dated January 13, salaries of a number of budgetary organizations, social benefits, pensions and scholarships have been increased in Azerbaijan since January 1. This will affect 1.9 million citizens of the country. AZN 750 million are allocated annually for these purposes.

Thus, the salaries of employees of a number of budgetary organizations have been raised by 15%. These are Presidium and Apparatus of the National Academy of Sciences and Apparatus of its Ganja branch; Heydar Aliyev Center; Scientific Center "Azerbaijan National Encyclopedia"; Ataturk Center; State archives and their branches, State Commission for Combating Drug Addiction; Baku Center for Multiculturalism; Office of the Agrarian Innovation Center of the Ministry of Agriculture; Financial Research and Education Center under the Ministry of Finance; Scientific and Methodological Center for Culture and Advanced Training of the Ministry of Culture; State Film Fund of the Ministry of Culture; "Memorial complex of genocide" in the city of Guba; Office of the National Aerospace Agency of the Ministry of Defense Industry; Association of Forensic Medical Examination of the Ministry of Health and Center of Forensic Psychiatric Examination; National Culinary Center; Foundation for Promotion of Spiritual Values; Executive Power Centralized Accounting.

By decree of the head of state:

- amount of pensions of participants in the Second World War increased from 300 to 330 manats

-allowance for those who received disability due to the war and the events of January 20, 1990, increased from 330 to 500 manats, depending on the degree of loss of body functions

- amount of pension of January 20, martyr families increased from 500 to 600 manats

- amount of social benefit for the birth of a child is set at 500 manats

- amount of social allowance for low-income families with children under one year old is set at 100 manats for each child

-  amount of Presidential scholarship for the academic degrees of Doctor of Science and Doctor of Philosophy is set at the following rates: Doctor of Science - 500 manats; Doctor of Philosophy - 300 manats

- amount of Presidential scholarship for students of higher educational institutions increased from 250 to 275 manats.

- amount of social benefits for disability due to impaired body functions by 81%-100% increased to 270 manats; due to violations by 61"-80% - 220 manats, by 31%-60% - 150 manats

- amount of social allowance for old age increased to 220 manats

- amount of social allowance for burial is set at 500 manats

- amount of social allowance for the loss of the head of the family is set at 120 manats

- amount of pension for families of servicemen killed and missing in Afghanistan are set at 600 manats

- amount of pension for families of martyrs is set at 600 manats

- amount of pension for caring for persons with 81%-100% disability or under the age of 18 is set at 100 manats

- scholarships for honorary titles worth 200 manats will be given to people's writers, people's poets, people's artists and people's artists

- honored workers of science, arts, artists, artists, cultural workers, teachers, doctors, architects, physical culture workers, civil servants, journalists, engineers, lawyers, agricultural workers, pilots, medical workers will receive 150 manats

- amount of pension for the visually impaired is set at 300 manats

- amount of personal pension of the President of Azerbaijan is set at 1,500 manats

- amount of scholarships for doctoral students is set at 240 to 400 manats

- amount of masters of universities and the Academy of Sciences from 100 to 195 manats, depending on the indices below:

- bachelors - from 100 to 175 manats

- scholarships in secondary specialized institutions from 66 to 100 manats

- In professional institutions from 66 to 100 manats.
