“Russian side has reached an agreement with Ukrainian servicemen on joint ensuring of the security of Chernobyl nuclear power plant,” said the official representative of Russian MFA Mariya Zakharova, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.

According to her, Russia and Ukraine will jointly monitor the security of power units: “Russian military seizes control of Chernobyl nuclear power plant in order not to jeopardize its security.”
