The Netherlands is ready to expand cooperation with Azerbaijan in the field of renewable energy, Ambassador of the Netherlands Pauline Eiseman told Trend.

"In particular, the Netherlands would like to cooperate with Azerbaijan in the offshore wind energy sector," Eiseman said.

Although there are no specific projects yet, the Netherlands has an extensive expert base, and many Dutch companies can significantly contribute to Azerbaijan's alternative energy sector, added the ambassador.
