European Parliament Vice-President Eva Kaili Faces Charges over Alleged Ties with Third Countries

Eva Kaili, Vice-President of the European Parliament, is currently facing charges related to her alleged connections with third countries, according to an article in EU Today. Kaili is also under scrutiny for her association with the EU-Armenia friendship group, which is linked to the European Armenian Federation for Justice and Democracy (EAFJD), the largest Armenian lobbying organization in Europe. The EAFJD has been accused of lobbying for Armenian interests in the office of the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and organizing trips to the Armenian-occupied regions of Karabakh. Kaili herself has spoken in the European Parliament against the abolition of the Schengen visa for Azerbaijani diplomats and expressed hostility towards Turkey.
