Embassy reveals rules for the entry of Georgian citizens into Azerbaijan by air

Georgian citizens have been allowed to visit the Republic of Azerbaijan via air, according to Azerbaijan's Embassy to Georgia, APA's bureau in Georgia reports.

It has been noted that according to the amendment, made on Decision #151 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, dated May 26, 2021, fully vaccinated (two doses) Georgian citizens are able to visit the Republic of Azerbaijan via air from February 15 under the Decision #40 of Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated February 15, 2022.

"However, Georgian citizens traveling to the Republic of Azerbaijan must submit a printed certificate on the negative result of the PCR test for COVID-19 obtained within 72 hours before the flight. In the case of persons aged 1-18, they will be able to fly only on the basis of a document confirming the negative result of the PCR test for COVID-19 (COVID-19 passport is not required) issued within 72 hours before the flight. PCR testing is not required for children under one year of age. The age of the child is determined on the date of departure," it has been noted.
