Turkish Interior Minister, Süleyman Soylu, has announced that the death toll from the devastating earthquake that struck 11 provinces of Turkey has reached 43,556. He also revealed that 70-80 percent of the earthquake's damage has been assessed. Furthermore, the minister disclosed that 750,000 buildings were damaged due to the disaster. The rescue and recovery efforts are ongoing in the affected areas.
