Azerbaijani Minister meets with Hungarian officials to discuss expanding cooperation

Sahil Babayev, the Azerbaijani co-chairman of the Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation between the Governments of Azerbaijan and Hungary, met with the Director General of the Office of the President of Hungary, Tamas Shanda, and the Minister of Economic Development of Hungary, Marton Nagy, during his visit to Hungary with the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population. The meetings focused on expanding cooperation between the two countries in all fields, according to a statement by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population reported by APA.

The officials highlighted the developing relations between Azerbaijan and Hungary based on friendly ties and strategic partnership. They also noted that the trade and economic cooperation between the two countries has been growing, with 52 cooperation documents signed in the past period and a 34.8 percent increase in trade turnover in the previous year.

The talks are part of the efforts by both countries to strengthen their partnership in various areas, including trade, education, culture, and tourism. The Azerbaijani government has been actively working to enhance cooperation with other countries in order to promote economic growth and improve the well-being of its citizens.
