Tahir Mirkishili, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Policy, Industry, and Entrepreneurship, announced that Azerbaijan has spent about 6.5 billion manats ($3.823 billion) from the state budget in the past two years to restore the territories liberated from occupation. Mirkishili also mentioned that the Accounts Chamber has audited part of these funds, which is reflected in their report for 2022. He praised the Accounts Chamber for using a results-oriented budget model in their reporting for the first time last year. Additionally, Mirkishili noted that 48 audits are planned for 2022, with 46 already completed.
