According to the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers, Azerbaijan has detected 40 new cases of coronavirus infection on March 1. No deaths from COVID-19 have been recorded, and 29 people have been reported to have recovered.

Currently, there are 159 active patients in the country. The authorities carried out 249 tests for coronavirus over the past day.
