Azerbaijan has reported 36 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, along with 32 recoveries and one fatality, according to the latest data from the country's health ministry.

The total number of confirmed cases in the country now stands at 828,906, with 818,548 recoveries and 10,143 deaths. Currently, 215 people are undergoing treatment.

In the past day, authorities conducted 1,519 tests to detect new infections, taking the total number of tests since the beginning of the pandemic to 7,540,198.

Meanwhile, 230 individuals received their COVID-19 vaccines in Azerbaijan today, bringing the total number of administered vaccine doses to 13,951,282. Of those vaccinated today, 79 received their first jab, 61 received their second dose, and 77 received their third or further doses. The number of individuals who received a booster shot after testing positive for COVID-19 has reached 13.

As the vaccination drive continues in Azerbaijan, health officials are urging the public to remain vigilant and adhere to preventive measures to curb the spread of the virus.
