Armenian armed forces attacked Azerbaijani Army's positions in the Lachin district on April 11 using mortars and various caliber weapons from their positions in the direction of the Digh settlement of the Gorus region. However, the Azerbaijani servicemen successfully prevented the attack, suppressed the firing points, and caused significant losses to the opposing side. Four Azerbaijani servicemen were wounded, and two of them were evacuated for medical attention. This marks the latest escalation in the ongoing conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia over the disputed Nagorno-Karabakh region.
