Turkiye's Election Schedule Begins, Voting on May 14

Turkiye's Supreme Election Council has announced the start of the election schedule for the upcoming presidential and parliamentary elections. The schedule begins on Saturday and will continue until May 13, which will be declared a "day of silence." The voting will take place on May 14, with a possible second round of presidential elections on May 28.

The nomination period for presidential candidates will begin on March 19 and conclude on March 23 at 17:00 local time. The final list of candidates for the presidency will be published in the Official Gazette on March 31, and the propaganda period for the presidential election will begin.

Political parties have until April 9, at 17:00 PM, to submit their candidate lists to the Supreme Election Board. Objections will be decided by the high election board until 23.59 PM.
