"Turkey earthquake death toll rises to 31,974"

The earthquakes, which occurred last Monday with magnitudes of 7.7 and 7.6 and were centered in the Kahramanmaras province, affected more than 13 million people across 10 provinces, including Adana, Adiyaman, Diyarbakir, Gaziantep, Hatay, Kilis, Malatya, Osmaniye, and Sanliurfa. Report informs that the death toll from the earthquakes in Turkey has risen to 31,974, according to the country's disaster management authority, AFAD. The strong tremors were also felt in several neighboring countries, including Syria and Lebanon, within a span of less than 10 hours.
