A protest action against the illegal exploitation of mineral deposits in the Karabakh economic region of Azerbaijan continues on the Khankandi-Lachin road passing through Shusha.

According to Report's employee informing from the scene, the protest, which began on the morning of December 12, continued through the December 28 night.

The participants of the action were provided with a place to sleep and hot meals.

No incidents were recorded during the night.

The demonstrators started the day with the performance of the National Anthem of Azerbaijan, followed by patriotic songs.

Despite the frosty weather, eco-activists, without interfering with the movement in both directions, demonstrate posters and chant slogans in the Azerbaijani, Russian and English languages.

The requirements of the protest participants remain unchanged.
