PM's office discusses possible halt to judicial reform legislation

Discussions were held in the Prime Minister's Office on Sunday evening, continuing into Monday morning, about a possible stop to the judicial reform legislation. In attendance were Justice Minister Yariv Levin, Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer, Education Minister Yoav Kisch, and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich.

Sources within Likud indicate that Dermer and Kisch advised the Prime Minister to halt the legislation, while Justice Minister Levin is pushing for its continuation, even threatening to resign from the government.

A meeting of the coalition party leaders is set to take place on Monday morning in Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office, according to Ynet.
