Pashinyan says he is ready to open roads, but not corridor

Baku/10.01.23/Turan: Turkey's decision to lift the ban on air cargo transportation to Armenia gives impetus to bilateral negotiations between Yerevan and Ankara. This step by Turkey can be welcomed, and it is important to continue negotiations and achieve concrete steps to normalize relations between Armenia and Turkey.

This was stated at a press conference in Yerevan by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

-This is important not only for Armenia and Turkey, but for ensuring international logistics chains as well. With the opening of communication routes, the region is becoming more important and Armenia is ready to start restoring its section of the Yeraskh-Nakhichevan-Meghri-Goradiz railway, as well as motor car communication. Armenia is interested in becoming a transport crossroad, Pashinyan said. In so doing, he immediately added that Azerbaijan's demands "on some corridors" prevent this plan.
