At 14:24 Baku time, a new strong earthquake with a magnitude of 7.7 occurred in the central part of Turkey, Turkish media reported. Tremors were felt in Diyarbakir, Sanliurfa, Ankara and Adana.

According to Al Jazeera, tremors were also felt in the Syrian capital Damascus, Latakia province. There is no information about casualties and destruction yet.
