Ned Price: The goal of the United States is to bring Azerbaijan and Armenia to a comprehensive peace path

“US is a friend of Armenia and Azerbaijan,” said a spokesperson for the US State Department Ned Price at a press conference, APA reports.
“There is no greater supporter of the sovereignty and independence of South Caucasus countries, including Armenia and Azerbaijan, than the United States. The independence of Azerbaijan and Armenia from the Soviet Union in 1991 was the main event that ensured each of these countries the right to realize their foreign policy interests, regardless of Moscow or any other country in the world. So, when connecting with Azerbaijan and Armenia, we do it only for one purpose, and it is to put an end to violence and to bring these countries to sustainable and comprehensive peace path.”
