Antonov Airport, in northern Kyiv, has been hit by Russian shelling, authorities in the capital say, APA reports citing BBC.
Antonov, also known as Hostomel, is Ukraine's most important international cargo airport, as well as a key military airbase.
Unverified videos on social media show a thick plume of smoke rising from above the airport.
