During his speech at the Extraordinary Summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) Heads of State in Ankara on March 16, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev announced that the next OTS Summit will be held in Kazakhstan in October. The event, which marks the transfer of the OTS chairmanship to Kazakhstan, will take place in the city of Turkistan and will feature a number of notable events. This will be the 10th summit of the organization, which aims to promote cooperation and integration among Turkic-speaking countries.
