A team has been established to raise appropriate petitions before international organizations for the investigation of crimes against peace and humanity, war, and terrorism, including the Khojaly genocide and other crimes committed in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan. Military prosecutor Khanlar Valiye made the announcement at a science-practical conference held in the Military Prosecutor's Office to mark the 31st anniversary of the Khojaly genocide.

Valiye highlighted that during the criminal case investigation, 40 individuals were identified to have committed crimes against peace and humanity, particularly in the Khojaly episode. The investigation team will pursue justice for these crimes and other gross violations of international law norms.
