Global Baku Forum hosts panel on "Western Balkans in the EU context"

The 10th Global Baku Forum, organized by the Nizami Ganjavi International Center under the patronage of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, is hosting a panel session on "Western Balkans in the EU context". Moderated by Zlatko Lagumdzija, Prime Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina (2001-2002) and Deputy Prime Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina (2012-2015), the session features speeches from prominent figures such as Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic, President of Croatia (2015-2020), Jan Fischer, Prime Minister of the Czech Republic (2009-2010), Petar Stoyanov, President of Bulgaria (1997-2002), Emil Constantinescu, President of Romania (1996-2000), and Milica Pejanovic-Durisic, Minister of Defense of Montenegro (2012-2016).
The forum, which is themed "The World of Today: Challenges and Hopes", aims to facilitate discussions on the most pressing global issues. The ongoing panel session on the Western Balkans and the EU context is expected to shed light on the potential accession of Balkan countries to the EU and the impact it could have on the region.
