Euronest Parliamentary Assembly rejects Armenia's resolutions on Lachin road

At the 10th session of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly held in Chisinau, Moldova, resolutions put forth by Armenia regarding the Lachin road were rejected, according to reports. The delegation of the Azerbaijani Parliament, Milli Majlis, participated in the session.

Armenia proposed 12 amendments to the final protocol of the session, including calls for the "Opening of the Lachin Corridor", "Removal of the blockade of Nagorno-Karabakh", "Removal of the Azerbaijani army from the territory of Armenia", and "Activation of the OSCE Minsk Group". However, the representatives of the Assembly rejected all the resolutions of the Armenian delegation after efforts were made by the Azerbaijani delegation in bilateral meetings and during committee and plenary sessions.

The fact that the resolutions were rejected demonstrates the region's commitment to peace, legal residence, and development. Six MPs, led by MP Tahir Mirkishili, represented the Milli Majlis at the Euronest PA.
