According to the State Statistics Committee, the population of Azerbaijan stood at 10,127,145 as of January 1, 2023. The report reveals that 54.6% of the population live in urban areas while 45.5% reside in rural areas. In terms of gender, men account for 49.8% of the population, while women make up 50.2%.
