Jeyhun Bayramov, the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan, participated in a meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Ankara on March 16, 2023. In his speech, Bayramov expressed solidarity with Turkey following the devastating earthquakes that occurred in the country on February 6, 2023. He noted that the purpose of the extraordinary OTS meeting, which was initiated by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, was to demonstrate support for Turkey during this difficult time.

At the meeting, the OTS Foreign Ministers also discussed and reviewed documents and draft political declarations that will be presented to the leaders of the countries for approval at the summit.
