Azerbaijan's Embassy in Russia disseminates information on Armenian provocation planned for international food exhibition

Azerbaijani Embassy in Russia has disseminated information on Armenian provocation planned in Prodekspo-2022 international food exhibition to be held on February 7-11, the press service of the Embassy told APA’s Moscow correspondent.

"We note the following citing the information disseminated on social media and mass media, about illegal registration of “Биэйдж Бренди Компании” Armenian company in Khankendi, to participate in “Prodekspo-2022” international food exhibition scheduled for February 7-11 in Moscow:

On February 3, 2022, the responsible diplomats of the Embassy met with the relevant executives of the Central Exhibition Complex Expocenter, where the exhibition will be held. At the meeting, it was brought to attention that the news spread about illegal registration of “Биэйдж Бренди Компани” in Khankandi creates concern and stressed that company's participation in the exhibition is unacceptable.

In response, it was stated that, according to the documents submitted, the company was registered at the specified address in Yerevan, and there were no inscriptions and symbols “Artsakh” or “Nagorno-Karabakh” on the Prodekspo website. It was noted that the Armenian information site “spyur.am” indicated that the head office of this company is located at the address: “Armenia, Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), Stepanakert, st. Tumanyan, house 50”, the last update on this site is dated March 16, 2021, and this information also does not reflect the current situation.

It was especially stressed that the relevant instructions were given to prevent unpleasant cases. The received information will be checked again, if it is confirmed, that company will not be allowed to the exhibition.

The issue is under the special control of the Embassy," the statement said
