Azerbaijani President's Visit to Tajikistan Strengthens Bilateral Relations, says Tajik Political Scientist

A Tajik political scientist has hailed the recent visit of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to Tajikistan, stating that it opens a new chapter in the bilateral relations between the two nations. The political scientist noted that Azerbaijan is not only a regional leader in the South Caucasus, but also an active participant in the global Non-Aligned Movement.

The expert further stated that Azerbaijan's role as a reliable supplier of hydrocarbons not only for the European Union, but also for neighboring regions, is of great significance. He emphasized that Azerbaijan's balanced actions are making a significant contribution to maintaining stability in the "turbulent Eurasia" and preventing it from sliding into another "cold war."

According to the Tajik political scientist, the maintenance and gradual deepening of multifaceted cooperation with Azerbaijan is in the national interests of Tajikistan. During the state visit, 14 documents were signed between the two countries, highlighting the growing cooperation and strengthening of relations.

The visit of President Ilham Aliyev to Tajikistan is a significant step in enhancing the ties between the two nations and promoting stability in the region.
