Azerbaijani parliament adopts bill on doubling fines for violation of parking rules

Azerbaijani Parliament has today adopted the draft amendments to the Code of Administrative Offences on doubling the fines for violation of parking rules in the first reading, Report informs.
Under the amendments, the fine for those parking vehicles in the parking lots intended for vehicles of disabled people is increased from 10 to 20 manats.
According to another amendment, the fine for those parking cars with a maximum weight of more than 3.5 tons in parking lots, as well as obstructing free parking by reservation of parking spaces and other means, is increased from 10 to 20 manats.
After discussions, the bill was adopted in the first reading.
