Once again, on March 24, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense detected a convoy of vehicles carrying out illegal military transport on the Khankandi-Khalfali-Turshsu road. In a statement, the ministry announced that the Azerbaijani Armed Forces' technical means of observation identified movement of BTR-82A Russian peacekeeping contingent, three covered KamAZ, and one KamAZ with a fuel tank belonging to Armenians in the column.

The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense reminded the Russian peacekeeping contingent that these actions violate their obligations under the trilateral statement of the leaders of Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Russia of November 10, 2020. The military department of Azerbaijan stresses that creating conditions for the free transportation of manpower, ammunition, mines, and other logistical means for the illegal Armenian formations in Karabakh is a gross violation of the agreements by the peacekeeping contingent.

According to the press release of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense, these illegal actions take place regularly, demonstrating the need for Azerbaijan to establish a border checkpoint at the endpoint of the Lachin road.
