Azerbaijani minister talks growth of tax revenues in state budget

Tax revenues to Azerbaijan’s state budget grew in the first quarter of 2022, Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov said on Twitter, Trend reports.
According to Jabbarov, this figure exceeded 2.8 billion manat ($1.6 billion), up by 34.4 percent on annual basis.
He noted that the forecast for tax revenues in the state budget was fulfilled by 123.8 percent.
Besides, the budget revenues from the non-oil sector increased by 48.9 percent and exceeded 2.2 billion manat ($1.3 billion), while the forecast for them was fulfilled by 128.6 percent, added the minister.
