Azerbaijan reports 48 new COVID-19 cases and 35 recoveries

Azerbaijan has confirmed 48 new cases of COVID-19, according to the latest figures released by the government. The country has also reported 35 recoveries from the virus.
Since the start of the pandemic, a total of 829,265 people have been infected with coronavirus in Azerbaijan. Of these cases, 818,791 individuals have recovered, while 10,153 people have lost their lives to the virus.
As of now, there are 321 people receiving treatment in special hospitals across the country.
In the past day, authorities conducted 912 tests to detect COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of tests carried out in Azerbaijan to 7,549,363.
