Azerbaijan increased oil and gas export in third quarter

In the third quarter of this year, SOCAR exported 4,5 mln. tones of oil, which is 22% more in comparison to the relevant period of the previous year APA-Economics reports citing a quarterly report of SOCAR.
Note that the indicators of crude oil exported by the Company reflect the volumes of crude oil belonging to both Azerbaijani state and SOCAR.
“The volumes of natural gas exported by the country was increased by 48% to made up 4,4 bln. cubic meters. During the reporting period 2,4 bln. cubic meters of gas was consumed within the country, which is 8% more in comparison to the relevant period of the previous year,” the report reads.
