Armenia and Azerbaijan to Meet in Brussels, Says US State Department

The President of the European Council, Charles Michel, will host a meeting with the participation of Armenia and Azerbaijan in Brussels in the coming days, according to US State Department spokesman, Ned Price. He also noted that the US expects results from this meeting and while the country is not overly optimistic about the Armenian-Azerbaijani talks, it will continue to support them. The statement comes after a trilateral meeting between US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, and the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan, which was held on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference on February 18. Earlier, Blinken had noted significant progress in the negotiations over the past few months and expressed the US' hope for the process to continue.
