Baku, Azerbaijan - Two armed criminals attacked cash collectors in front of the BRAVO hypermarket in the Khatai district on Saturday at 12:30. The attackers shot at the collectors, killing one and injuring the other. The criminal carrying a machine gun stole a bag of money and fled the scene.

The Prosecutor General's Office has confirmed that employees from various departments are carrying out operational measures at the site. Law enforcement agencies are currently interrogating witnesses and searching for the perpetrators.

According to witnesses on social media, one of the attackers fired shots at the collectors when they were at the ATM. One collector was fatally shot in the head, while the other sustained injuries.

Further updates reveal that the attack was carried out by two criminals. One of them, armed with a submachine gun, shot a policeman at the entrance to the hypermarket, before targeting the collectors. The other criminal shot the collector at the ATM, also stealing a bag of money before fleeing the scene with the other perpetrator.

The investigation into the armed attack is ongoing, and authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
