President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in an interview with CNN announced the death of 2.5-3 thousand military Ukrainian Armed Forces during the hostilities in the country, Trend reports with reference to UNIAN.

Zelensky said that Ukrainian officials think about 2,500 to 3,000 Ukrainian troops have died during the fighting in the country.

He added there are about 10,000 Ukrainian troops who have been injured and that it's "hard to say how many will survive."
