Extreme right: leader of the Zouaves Paris leaves to fight in Nagorno-Karabakh

caucasefrance.com/ OCTOBRE 30, 2020

The leader of the extreme right-wing group Zouaves Paris (ZVP), Marc de Cacqueray-Valmenier, reported on Instagram that he went to fight alongside Armenians in Nagorno-Karabakh in conflict with Azerbaijan, Libération reported on Friday, October 30.

To illustrate his commitment, Marc de Cacqueray broadcast a picture of him in uniform with an assault rifle in his hands that could be a Kalashnikov. On his bust are two patches: an Armenian flag and a totenkopf, the skull used by some SS units. The picture is captioned "Direction: the front". He also made known his will to create "a brigade of foreign volunteers" in collaboration with the local authorities.

At Liberation in 2019, Marc de Cacqueray-Valmenier said in no uncertain terms that he was "a fascist". But he refuted this label for his group, the Zouaves Paris, spearheading extreme right-wing violence in Paris. A small group dedicated to "holding the street", he also said.

The Zouaves Paris only do politics with their fists in the purest tradition of the GUD (Groupe union défense), which they claim to be. These extreme right-wing "Zouaves" engage in brawls and ratonnades (racist attacks on immigrants) in the streets of Paris. They have also participated in yellow vest riots.
