It was noted that decisions on mask use and other restrictions are adopted taking into account the epidemiological situation: “Wearing masks, especially indoor is important for preventing infecting with coronavirus. Therefore, the decision to wear masks in crowded places such as public transport is still in force in several countries. A decision on using masks in Azerbaijan will be made in near future depending on the number of coronavirus cases. The decision on the opening of the borders is up to each country and is regulated by the governments in accordance with the epidemiological situation,” the statement reads.
