20 June 2022
There is no threat of the monkeypox virus in Azerbaijan, WHO Representative in Azerbaijan, Hande Harmanci, told Report.
She recalled that the disease had existed in the world before: "It has already been in Africa and is beginning to spread in Europe. Not as disturbing as coronavirus. Person-to-Person Transmission isn't easy because it can be transmitted in different forms. Therefore, we are not too worried. But, of course, it is necessary to watch it."
