Two soldiers from the Azerbaijani Army, who went missing in the border area of the Shahbuz district of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic with Armenia, have been found in the Garakilsa region of Armenia. The soldiers disappeared due to limited visibility caused by bad weather conditions.

Armenia's Ministry of Defense claims that one of the soldiers was found and detained on April 13 in Armenian territory. The Azerbaijani authorities have not confirmed this claim.

The incident comes amid ongoing tensions between Azerbaijan and Armenia over the disputed Nagorno-Karabakh region. Both sides have accused each other of violating the ceasefire agreement that ended last year's war.

The Azerbaijani government has not yet released a statement on the matter.
