Turkiye to appoint defense industry adviser to Azerbaijan

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan signed a relevant decision to establish a post of defense industry adviser in the Embassy of Turkiye in Azerbaijan, APA reports.
According to the decision, the defense industry adviser will assess the processes and similar issues related to the defense industry in the country where he serves, prepare reports and inform the Turkish Defense Industry Administration.
In general, the Defense Industry Advisory Board will be established and appointments will be made at the Turkish embassies in 9 countries.
Defense industry advisers will work at the embassies of Baku / Azerbaijan, Doha / Qatar, Islamabad / Pakistan, Brazil, Jakarta / Indonesia, Kuala Lumpur / Malaysia, Muscat / Oman, Dhaka / Bangladesh, and London / UK.
