Türkiye and Finland will officially finalize Finland's NATO accession by depositing the original documents to U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken in Brussels. The ceremony will take place in Brussels instead of Washington, where the accession protocol is traditionally deposited. According to Ambassador Julianne Smith, U.S. Permanent Representative to NATO, Finland has addressed some of Türkiye's concerns, and Sweden's NATO membership process is expected to move forward soon. On Ukraine and the Donbas offensive, Ambassador Smith stated that the Russians have not achieved any significant victories on the battlefield, and the Ukrainians are expected to launch their own offensive in the weeks ahead.
