Turkish citizens begin voting in presidential and parliamentary elections abroad








Turkish citizens residing abroad have commenced voting in the country's presidential and parliamentary elections on April 27, as per the decision of the Central Election Commission. A total of 156 polling stations have been established across 75 countries, situated within Turkish diplomatic missions. Additionally, 4,600 voting points have been created at border checkpoints, airports, and sea harbors for citizens traveling abroad to express their electoral preferences. A staggering 3.6 million eligible voters are expected to cast their ballots outside of Türkiye.
