During a meeting with President Ilham Aliyev, Israeli Minister of Foreign Affairs and co-chair of the Joint Commission, Eli Cohen, emphasized that the opening of Azerbaijan's embassy in Israel would contribute to the strategic relations between the two nations, according to AZERTAC.
Cohen highlighted that the relations between Israel and Azerbaijan are of strategic importance and emphasized that friendly relations exist not only between the two states, but also between the peoples of both countries.
He also touched upon the growing tourism sector between the two countries, noting that the number of Israeli tourists visiting Azerbaijan is on the rise. Cohen further stated that the trade turnover between the two countries is also increasing, with ample opportunities for further growth.
