Head of Secretariat of President of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences Eldar Amirov has been detained by the employees of Main Department for Combating Organized Crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the head of the press service of the Ministry, police colonel Ehsan Zahidov told APA.

He noted that a complaint on Eldar Amirov has been received and he was detained for investigation. Currently, investigations are underway.
