An explosion in Yashma village of Azerbaijan's Khizi region has resulted in the deaths of Khankishi Guliyev and Rashad Abilov, and injuries to Bakhtiyar Huseynov. The explosion occurred after the three individuals picked up a warhead found in the area.

The prosecutor's office and the Ministry of Internal Affairs have formed an operational-investigative group and have initiated a criminal case under article 314.3 of the Criminal Code.

Further investigations are underway to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.
