The State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons of Azerbaijan, along with other relevant state institutions, are conducting necessary search and investigation work related to two soldiers of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan - Babirov Agshin Gabil (born in 2004) and Akhundov Huseyn Ahliman (born in 2003) who went missing due to limited visibility caused by poor weather conditions in the border area of Shahbuz district of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic with Armenia.

Officials believe that the soldiers may be detained in the territory of Armenia and have made an official appeal to relevant international organizations regarding their release.
