"During the meeting with my Hungarian counterpart, the developing relations at the bilateral level and on multilateral platforms were discussed," said Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov at a joint press conference with Peter Siarto, Hungarian Foreign and Trade Minister who is on a visit in Baku, APA reports.

According to him, there is a high-level dialogue between the two countries: “Strategic partnership was discussed at the meeting. Economic cooperation has been successful for both countries. We hope that in 2022 our economies will develop and our economic cooperation will further expand. We also have successful cooperation in the field of energy. Azerbaijan has played the role of a reliable country for European countries in the energy partnership."

He drew to the attention that MOL company of Hungary has participated in the investment projects: "Hungary has interest to Azerbaijan. It participates in the meetings of the Southern Caucasus corridor. They will participate tomorrow as well. Azerbaijan will act as a reliable gas supplier of Europe on the basis of the new realities and we believe that Hungary will benefit from this".
