The monetary base in Azerbaijan increased by 1.4% to AZN 14 billion 564.5 million as of May 1 this year, APA-Economics reports quoting the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

The monetary base has decreased by 19% compared to the beginning of the year. Over the past year, this figure has increased by 9.7%.
