Azerbaijan has recorded 38 new coronavirus cases and 3 deaths over the past day, according to the latest figures released by the health ministry. Meanwhile, 27 people have recovered from the infection.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, the country has reported a total of 831,354 cases of infection, with 820,861 recoveries and 10,241 deaths. Currently, 252 people are receiving treatment.

Over the past day, health officials performed 1,166 tests to identify new infections, bringing the total number of tests conducted in the country to 7,589,504.

In other news, 347 people received their anti-coronavirus shots in Azerbaijan today, bringing the total number of vaccinated people to 13,960,646.
